Atlassian Team '26 Europe
Amsterdam, October 6-8, 2026

Table of Contents

Overview

Atlassian Team '26 Europe. European counterpart to Team '26 (Atlassian's US flagship). Framing: Unleash your teams and their agents. Everyone. Working on the right things. In Jira, teams and AI agents plan, execute, and deliver outcomes together.

Three days. Tuesday is breakouts, workshops and the expo opening; Wednesday opens with the Founder Keynote; Thursday closes with the Closing Keynote and the Bash. The developer-facing content clusters on one claim: coding agents need organizational context (Jira, Confluence, the Teamwork Graph) to deliver verified work, and that context arrives through MCP, Rovo agents, and AI review. See Developer recommended agenda for the session-level notes.

All times CEST (Amsterdam).

Logistics

Schedule

The fixed frame of each day: keynotes, expo, receptions, Braindate. Breakout, learning, demo and workshop sessions are in Developer recommended agenda. This replaces a July scrape of the skeleton agenda (its "Rovo Happy Hour", 5-8 PM Bash and 9:00-10:30 keynote slot did not survive into the final program).

Tuesday, 6 October

Time Session Where
13:00-18:00 Explore the Expo Expo
13:30-14:30 Braindate Braindate Lounge
16:00-18:00 Welcome Reception Expo

11:45-12:45 Braindate Braindate Lounge
16:00-18:00 Reception on Expo Floor Expo

Founder Keynote speakers: Mike Cannon-Brookes, Sherif Mansour, Tamar Yehoshua, Taroon Mandhana.

Thursday, 8 October

Time Session Where
08:00-15:00 Explore the Expo Expo
11:00-14:15 Digital livestream online
12:30-13:30 Braindate Braindate Lounge
15:00-16:15 Closing Keynote: What becomes possible Main Stage
16:30-19:30 BASH Strand Zuid

Closing Keynote speakers: Amit Puntambekar (Reddit), Brian Duffy, Hannah Waddingham, Hilary Lanham (Lloyds Banking Group), Mike Cannon-Brookes.

Developer recommended agenda

"Build high-quality software fast", curated by Julian Wolf (CTO, Seibert Products): "measure and improve your developer productivity, software quality, and team velocity." The tables list every session on that agenda except the expo, receptions and keynotes (in Schedule). Sessions with enough published detail have their own heading below the table, with a stable anchor and, where the connection holds, links to related research here. A repeated session lists both slots; the repeat has its own session id.

Closing the context gap: From local coding sessions to verified delivery

  • Session: 4395885, breakout, Stage 4 Hall 3, livestream and on demand.
  • Speakers: Natalija Fuksmane, Ryan Jiang (Senior Product Managers, Atlassian).
  • Time, two sources disagree:
    • The developer recommended agenda lists Tuesday 6 October, 11:00-11:45, Stage 4 Hall 3.
    • The session text pasted by the user reads Thursday 8 October, 10:00-10:30.
    • Neither is confirmed here. Two observations from the same capture: the Thursday 10:00-10:30 slot in Stage 4 Hall 3 is held by the sponsored Accenture session (4402494), and the Thursday livestream schedule does not list this session. Check the session page before relying on either slot.

Jira and the Teamwork Graph carry planning intent, local development decisions, standards and verification evidence across the SDLC. Decisions made in a local coding session are captured back into Jira. AI-assisted review is grounded in that intent and evidence, and a risk assessment surfaced in Jira fast-tracks low-risk changes.

Instrumentation observation

The events site runs Statsig client-side (sdkType: "java-server", sdkVersion: 3.1.3, hash_used: "djb2") with analyticsAnonymousId as the primary bucketing id and atlCohort as a custom attribute. Consent is managed by OneTrust ("US Generic" template, GPC + DNT honored, four cookie tiers).

Adjacent to the site's own gate SDK — see experiments for the shape we ended up copying (djb2 + static-file "server", no upstream call). The Statsig payload from this event's agenda page was the reference model.

Scheduling conflicts

Direct conflict with SPLASH/ISSTA 2026 in Oakland (Oct 6-8), including both workshops we're tracking there:

Pick one continent for that week.

Adjacencies to current work

  • Agent + human workflow in Jira: adjacent to the site's agent-context and durable-execution threads. If they publish keynote video, capture the framing.
  • Atlassian MCP: the Rovo MCP server is on the agenda twice (Your Atlassian context, in Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI agent, Administer Rovo in your organization); relevant to the MCP-connector work.
  • Beads / bd: personal task-tracking is bd-based, not Jira; Atlassian's framing of "AI agents in Jira" is worth reading as an alternative model even if unadopted.

TODO

  • [ ] Confirm the Closing the context gap slot against the session page.
  • [ ] Decide Amsterdam vs SPLASH/ISSTA Oakland for that week.
  • [ ] Capture keynote framing if recordings go on demand.
