clojure-skills: Privacy

Back to clojure-skills.

The plugin collects nothing. It has no analytics, no telemetry, and no accounts, and nothing it reads or writes is sent to us or to anyone else.

It makes one kind of outbound connection. The first time clj-eval runs, Babashka clones a pinned commit of bhauman/clojure-mcp-light from GitHub into ~/.gitlibs. GitHub sees that request as it would any clone. Evaluation itself goes to 127.0.0.1 only.

It writes one record: a journal of what was evaluated, at $HOME/.local/state/clj-eval/journal.edn, readable by its owner only. The journal holds the code that was sent – if a secret was evaluated, that secret is in a local file. It is kept outside your repository for that reason, and it stays on disk after the plugin is uninstalled until you delete it (see docs).

The delimiter hook reads the file that was just edited and writes nothing.
