Defect tracking for government

Examples of similar activities.

Scope of problem:

King county multiple sources of government. Allow King county employees to monitor Provide initial community Admins can change user status No write access to public systems Standard API allows future growth

Is there something that exists like this for Bugzilla.

Summary: Bugzilla for Government

Show any status change for the time.

APL tracking for happiness

Summary: Time tracking shows if you're completing tasks. It doesn't indicate if you're happy.

''''''''''''''''''''''' There was a recent Economist feature on the same subject. Requires a subscription though. =( http://www.economist.com/finance/displaystory.cfm?story_id=E1_RQDTNGJ

It seems like another domain that is ripe for consulting. Perhaps APL could be extended to include a unified productivity/happiness theory. '''''''''''''''''''''''

Track your great ideas

People generate poorly considered ideas. How to create and vet a wide variety of ideas with cases / scenarios / outcomes. mygreatidea.com

Outcomes

Consider how to move projects forward by providing the correct one minute summary. Should be able to pitch an idea that you work on individually. Vetting by a larger audience shouldn't block. More about time use that anything else.

What is the review process available at CMO that would be improved?

Tighter integration between Development and Marketing.

People who are loud sound better. Lack of confidence is hard to listen to.

Voting on projects that seem viable. Look at the options for people to pitch ideas and vote if they would work on it. Selected projects based on the availability to complete it with core skills. Process should not require full development of an idea.

iPhone applications are popular but don't have the skills to complete the work.

Should develop an application to track the ideas that are generated by Andersen and format into reasonable systems.
